"This is Halloween!"

Happy Halloween everyone! I still can't believe it's already here. I constantly lose track of time, and just Friday, I thought I had another week! But anyway, it's here, and my family's evening will consist of pumpkin carving, trick or treating, and Nightmare Before Christmas playing on a loop on the TV (I'm just a little obsessed with that movie =P ). What do you and your families have planned for the day?? I thought I'd leave you all today with a picture of my adorable 3 year old in the costume he picked out. =)

I know, WAY too adorable for his own good. ; )

Support Finding A Cure

Hey guys!! Sorry everyone for the recent absence, but I am finally unpacked and moved in, so I am back to blogging once again! October, as we all know, is breast cancer awareness month, and in honor of this, I have created some flowers to help raise money for finding a cure.
40% of the proceeds from these will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The felt flowers measure about 2 inches in diameter, and the rolled roses are about 3 inches in diameter. They may be turned into either a hair clip, or a pin, the choice is yours. I will be selling them until the end of November, and you may purchase yours by either contacting me via email at with your order and paypal email address, or you may go to to order from my Etsy store. So spread the word and support finding a cure for cancer!! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. =)

A Good Day After All

Today has been a not-so-fun filled day of frantically running around town doing errands, in particular, getting my cell phone bill straightened out which turned into an all day task (ugh!), all in the blazing Texas heat. But on a happier note, S. Roskilly Designs finally reached 200 fans on facebook today (huzzah!) which, of course, totally made my day =). So, to celebrate, I want to give all of my awesome fans 25% off their entire purchase in my Etsy store from now until Monday, August 22nd for cheering me up. Thank you guys, and I hope you have an awesome day!!

Quotes from a 3 year old

My little boy, Aiden, is 3 years old right now, and everyday, he says something that absolutely cracks me up. So today I wanted to share some of his quotes, and of course, some adorable pictures.

Aiden: (Pointing to an old man in the car parked next to us at walmart) "Who's that? Grandpa?"

Aiden: (Throwing a fit and yelling at his daddy) Me: (Intended for Aiden) "Stop acting like that." Aiden: Yeah Daddy, stop acting like that!"
Aiden: "I need presents. Get Christmas tree please!"

Me: "I love you Aiden bear." Aiden: "I love you Momma bug."
Jacob & I in unison: "FIREWORKS!!!" Aiden: "TRACTOR!!!"

Aiden: (praying) "dear lord, thank you for dad, thank you for mimi's house, thank you for bed, thank you for poopin'. Amen"
Aiden: "I'm Daddy." (Speaking in a deep voice) - "Go to bed, Aiden."

Aiden: (Whining and throwing a fit) Jacob: "What seems to be the problem?" Aiden: "Aiden grouchy!"

=) I love my boy so much. All photos were taken by the lovely Miss Heather Cross from Funday Photography. And for everyone who lives in the Texas area somewhat near or around Fort Worth, she is having a cute baby contest! So show her some love, and check out her Facebook page here! I hope everyone has an amazing rest of the day!

Over the Raibow

Here are today's amazing, and very colorful, Etsy finds!

Natural wax candles from Mahogany Blu Design-These are awesome. They are made from beeswax and palmwax to produce a clean burn. And look at all the beautiful colors they come in!! After the candle itself has completely melted away, you are still left with that gorgeous wax bowl. I absolutely love these.

Take Me to Wonderland Lamp by maddiegirl65-Love these colors! Always been a fan of turquoise and red color combos. It is completely hand painted and adorned with ribbon rosettes. I very much want this for my craft room!

Colorful Poppy Pillow from Vivid Home-An absolutely adorable pillow! This will definitely brighten up any room in the house. Completely handmade, and one of a kind.

Fabric Organizer/Storage Bin by Hoganfe Handmade Originals-I love this! It is a smaller sized storage bin(6x6x6in) accented with a super cute, green hydrangea felt applique, perfect for organizing craft supplies(which I desperately need to do). Will definately be needing to invest in some of these soon, before my crafts take over the rest of my house(getting quite a few complaints from the hubby =P).

Be sure to check out the rest of everyone's amazing items by clicking on their store name above. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope everyone has a bright and happy Wednesday! =)

Treasury Tuesday

It has been awhile since my last blog post (a week to be goodness), so today, I am breaking this horrible habit, and sharing with you one of the many awesome treasuries that I was lucky enough to be a part of this week.

Aren't those colors gorgeous! So happy that my pink ballet flats got to be a part of this one =). Have an awesome day, guys!
