Saying Goodbye to a Good Friend

Today has been pretty rough. We had to euthanize our sweet, family dog who we've had for 8 years. She had been suffering from cancer, and started going down hill pretty quick in just the last couple of months. She was a really great animal. She would always start barking (almost like getting onto you) if she thought anyone was playing too rough or being too loud, lol, and if you were ever sick, you better believe she was right there laying next to you until you got better. She was definitely a little trouble maker as well. She loved stealing food off the bar, or the table, or even off your plate if you weren't looking, but when she got caught, she would just look at you with those big puppy dog eyes like she knew she did wrong, but she also knew she was cute enough to get out of trouble, lol. My favorite thing was when she would walk around faking a limp just so you'd pet her or pay attention to her. She was a pretty sly dog, lol, and she will be missed greatly. Love you Sophie!!

  1. I always thought it was so funny when she would fake the limp. I remember she got hold of my headphones once and the minute I yelled at her, she looked up at me with those sad looking eyes and limped over to me. So funny! She was definitely a great dog!!!!

  2. I'm so very sorry to hear about Sophie. Losing a pet that we love so much is one of the hardest things we will ever go through. She sounds like she was a wonderful friend to you and she was a beautiful dog, and she will live on in your hearts forever.
